About Lindsey

Growth and performance marketing leader. 15+ years across enterprise retail, B2B services, agencies, and subscription DTC. The measurement is the point.

What I do

Illustrated black-and-white portrait of Lindsey Sobrinski.

My work lives at the intersection of media, organic search, and measurement: building the channel mix across paid social, search, programmatic, video, CTV, and out-of-home; building the AI-search visibility engines that get brands cited across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude; and building the analytics that tell you what actually worked. I allocate budgets by incrementality and contribution margin, not platform-reported ROAS.

I am a player-coach. I have hired and led teams, set the standards, and owned the agency relationships, and I still build the media plans, produce creative, and sit close enough to the numbers to know which campaigns earned their keep.

Where I have done it

Enterprise retail (current). I lead performance marketing, SEO/AEO/GEO, and marketing analytics for a national retail brand. I built the AI-search function from a standing start, and the brand is now cited across the major AI answer engines for high-intent queries.

B2B services. As Acting VP of Marketing at a $40M company, I led the marketing function and built the demand engine on 6sense, Pardot, Salesforce, and HubSpot: intent-based ABM, sequenced nurture, and lead scoring that added $5M in revenue and grew margin from 13% to 35%.

Subscription DTC. I led the turnaround of a leaderless subscription brand with full P&L: paid dependency down 83%, affiliate up 240%, SEO up 95%, retention up 33%, churn down 62%, and orders per customer from 2.0 to 3.5.

Agency. I managed paid media and ecommerce growth for eleven enterprise DTC beauty and retail brands on Shopify Plus, including luxury watch and jewelry names, with a $7.20 blended annual ROAS across the book.

How I work with AI

AI-native in the practical sense: I build the agents that run my reporting, forecasting, and media-mix modeling, each with guardrails and parameters. But agents do not replace the operator. There is always a human on top with the tribal knowledge to set strategy, catch drift before the dashboard reports it, and use the agents to validate the decision chain rather than outsource it.
